Stretching for nearly three miles along the waterfront of La Paz Baja California Sur, the Malecon is a massive boardwalk and jumble of shops and restaurants that provide visitors with a taste of culture and class in this scenic tropical paradise.

La Paz Museum of Anthropology and History

The museum also offers several different types of activities associated with learning about the indigenous prehistoric tribes and tools that were once found along the coastal and interior areas of the La Paz area.
Guided tours are available daily inside the museum. These tours offer an opportunity to experience first-hand the rich cultures of the various tribes that lived in La Paz region, and are led by museum attendants that weave magical and wondrous stories about the histories of the various people and places important to the history of La Paz Baja.
The La Paz Museum also contains an archeological exhibit that showcases the ancient links to Aztec and Mayan cultures that can still be felt in the town of La Paz, and many of the various sculptures and works of art created during this period have been preserved in exhilarating detail.
